Im slack, thus no updates...However there is some news for today. The Server has had an upgrade in speed, letting it hold roughly double the amount of people. I've also increase the site font size, and will be starting the stats up again once I find an easy way to automate them.

Soldat 1.2 is out, sending the Soldat community into a whirlwind of changes. Gameplay has changed significantly in this most recent version, giving the automatics and lesser used weapons a boost. Even the chainsaw has been beefed up, allowing it to do one hit kills. Soldat 1.2 also boasts many new features, such as colored jetpacks, game recording and spectator mode.

To go along with the release of 1.2, NightCabbage and I have finalized the mappack. Shiny release, V3.0 is out, grab it in the Files section. Thanks go out to NightCabbage and Devilman for helping assemble this pack, as well as the Soldat community and authors for supplying the maps.

I'm thinking of organising a 1v1 knife or socom tournament, which will be run with a ladder system and game reporting forms ect, ect... Vote in the poll to the left, so I can get an idea of what settings would be best.

There is a new lobby address (65.169.85.3) check the official news for more info. Also, over the last few weeks i've been hunting around for a few parts to improve my linux server, so pretty soon I should be able to leave Silkynode up 24/7 and with automatic stats updating. Hopefully 1.2 will be out soon, along with many fixes for the linux dedicated console.

Well, the long overdue update for the map-pack has been released. Hopefully these will keep you all busy for a while. Report any problems/errors to me, so I can resolve them asap.

On a side note, the stats updates will be done less often, as I've discovered its too much work to do daily. I will however, update them when I get the chance.

I quickly whipped up this site to host a stats page and files for my server, commonly known as Silkynode.

Just so that you know, I will update the stats whenever I get a chance (not monthly, probably once every few days). They will continue on for several weeks, and I may restart them at the end of each month. However, the previous months results will still be available under the 'Silkynode' section.
